SPD Vacuum Pump Oil VP
SPD Vacuum Pump Oil VPSPD Vacuum Pump Oil VP is a mineral vacuum pump oil formulated using light-colored, sulfur-free base oils with a high viscosity index and high oxidation stability. Thanks to its superior chemical and thermal stability, it delivers reliable performance in oil-sealed vacuum pumps operating under high temperatures, pressures, and mechanical loads.
Usage
This is a specialized product suitable for use in a wide range of applications, from piston-type to rotary vane vacuum pumps, as well as Roots pumps and gear pumps. It is suitable for vacuum pump systems used in industrial applications and automotive air conditioning systems. The use of this mineral-based product is not recommended in corrosive gases or under extremely high vacuum conditions where special fluids such as silicone and polyether are present.
Features
- It prevents wear on moving metal parts, such as rotor blades and bearings, by lubricating them. It provides cooling by preventing overheating.
- Thanks to the base oil’s low saturated vapor pressure, it enhances the performance of pumps under vacuum.
- It helps to retain moisture and contaminants in the system. Thanks to its superior water separation properties, it provides protection against negative effects caused by moisture and condensation, while maintaining its high fluidity at low temperatures.
- With its excellent oxidation resistance, it helps the pump operate efficiently, protects against rust and corrosion, minimizes thermal degradation of the oil and sediment formation, and ensures that the valves, rotor, vanes and bearings work cleanly and effectively.
- By quickly releasing the air it draws in, it prevents air entrapment and foam formation; it improves sealing and lubrication conditions within the pump, contributing to more stable and higher vacuum levels.
